LINKSAFE MLS 3628F (Data plane) developed by Lancs Networks on the FPGA platform that provides high performance Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking features.

Hardware based on FPGA – The data plane is designed on the basis of FPGA, allowing the switch’s capacity to reach a bandwidth of up to 56 Gbps.
Ready to integrate with the control plane – The LINKSAFE MLS 3628F offers full functionality and transformation capabilities that can be deployed in the data plane. The network core (Network IP-Core) of the system is standardized according to AXI – MemoryMap to be ready to pair with a 3rd party control plane (Third Party).
Layer 2 network features – In addition to high-speed data conversion, the data plane of the MLS device is supplemented with standards and encapsulation features such as: 802.1q VLAN Tag, Trunking, Port Mirroring and Jumbo frames.
Platform for routing features – LINKSAFE MLS 3628F supports flexible selection of switch or non-switch mode on network interfaces. On non-switch interfaces, static routing is supported with routing tables up to 20K entries.
